Solis Translations

Solis Translations is a small independent, boutique company specializing in the translation of documents ranging from literary texts to marketing and advertising materials.  We are particularly focused on the translation from Spanish to English of legal documents required by the Department of Homeland Security. Our translations of legal documents are all certified and notarized.

Additionally, we offer the translation of web pages, letters of intent, academic and commercial documents among others.

Solis Translations specializes in one-on-one specialized language instruction. Our language services are personalized to the needs of the client. From literary studies to business-practical and legal concerns, our goal is to offer the client an immersion into the specific world of their interest. Moreover, we consider the relationship with our clients as a partnership of discovery rather than a didactic exercise.

Concerning speech, we are proud to distinguish ourselves by offering study of idiom and practice in nuanced pronunciation. We achieve this by using not only the native talent of our instructors but also current print media and reading materials specific to the client's needs.

Our flexible scheduling allows clients to learn at their desired pace and in the setting and time most appropriate and convenient for them.  We strongly encourage an average of 4 hours per week for best results.  To accommodate client needs we offer morning, daytime and evening appointments and can travel to the clients’ site of preference.
